Materials

Drywall

We provide general material quantities including ceiling and wall footages separating any material types specified in drawings as well as finishing material references. We’re able to generate a detailed breakdown and also provide board counts.

Insulation Materials

We estimate for insulation material required for walls and ceilings. Our quantity reports and project summary document is prepared in a way where information found on the drawings (plans) used as reference matches final estimate.

Metal Framing

We takeoff metal studs, tracks, bracing numbers in pieces and/or by linear feet with corresponding gauge & heights/lengths. Specific frame breakdown is something we also provide.

Flooring

Flooring materials we typically estimate for IVP, vinyl, tile, carpet, hardwood focusing on providing square footages in total or broken down by room/area. When drawings include information or details, we can also add base board and any other flooring materials requested.

Paint

Our paint takeoffs include color specs, square footages and gallon quantities. We follow information and instructions found generally in a room finish schedule but can adapt to custom requests.

Masonry

Typical masonry takeoffs include brick counts with corresponding mortar bags, ties, weep holes & flashings accounted for. CMU units with reinforcement info, and stone veneer footages.

Wood Framing

We estimate wood studs, plates, headers, posts/columns, IVL beams, ceiling joists, rafters and any hardware required or requested. With performance quantities in custom formats or our standard general set up.

Roofing

When setting up roofing takeoffs, we include general shingle footages, starter shingle linear footage, ridge/hip/valley linear footages, and any roofing components requested. We make sure we set up our takeoff files breaking down quantities per building when applicable or in a custom manner.

Concrete

For concrete takeoffs, we are capable of calculating cubic yards, cubic feet and any reinforcement (rebar) called for in the drawings accordingly. Takeoffs are not limited to primary buildings but custom details also found on the site or landscape plans that may pertain to the scope.

Siding

Our takeoffs include standard siding & exterior trim materials called out on project details or exterior finish schedules. We are also able to adapt to special requests when it comes to materials and or presentation.

Trim

Interior trim scope includes window/door casings, window stool/aprons, handrails, crown moulding, chair rail moulding, custom trim details and anything else plans call for as well as special materials requested.

Doors & Windows

When estimating for doors & windows we include types, hardware info, sizing info and we make sure we list out item description in a way that matches client’s expectations and needs.

Lighting Fixtures

Using electrical drawing information pertaining to light fixtures or any lighting scheme/schedule found, we takeoff for any and all available items we identify. Our team focuses on making sure we are thorough and specific when listing information that corresponds to each fixture.
